When is the enrollment fee charged for a membership?

When you enroll a patient in a membership plan, SigmaMD automatically creates the first invoice and what gets billed changes based on the membership’s start date:

If the Start Date Is Today

• An invoice for the same day will be created, including both the enrollment fee and the membership fee.

If the Start Date Is in the Future

• An invoice for the same day will be created, including only the enrollment fee.
• The membership fee will be charged on a separate invoice, due on the actual start date.

This way, the enrollment fee is collected up front, and the membership billing starts on the right day.
