Member Enrollment with Enrollment Links

Enrollment Links in SigmaMD offer a seamless way for members to self-enroll in membership plans through a dedicated webpage hosted by SigmaMD. These links are customizable and provide a simple, efficient method for practices to onboard new members. Whether you're creating a link for a direct retail plan or for an employer-sponsored group, the setup is flexible and easy to follow.

This article will cover the steps to create a retail membership enrollment link. For employer plans, please reference this article.

Step 1: Go to the Enrollment Links Screen

Click on Billing at the main menu and choose Memberships from the submenu.

At the top of the screen, change to the Enrollment Links tab.

Step 2: Choose the Link Type

When creating a new enrollment link, start by clicking on the + Enrollment link button and select the type of link you want to create:

Retail – For general public use.

Employer – For employees enrolling through a specific employer.

A form will open to create your link. Fill the fields accordingly and click on "Confirm" to create the link.

  • Title: Give your link a title. This title will help you identify the link internally.
  • Slug: The slug is part of the URL that your members will use to access the enrollment page. For example, if your practice's subdomain is clinic.sigmamd.com , and you choose the slug join-us , the full URL will be clinic.sigmamd.com/signup/join-us . Make sure to keep the slug concise and relevant to the membership plan or target audience.

    Note: to speed up the process, your slug will be automatically filled with the chosen title, but you can change it before saving the link.

  • Membership Plans: Select the membership plans available through this link. You can choose multiple plans, giving potential members options that suit their needs.
  • Enrollment Start Date: Choose the earliest date for enrollments, which can be the same day the patient is accessing the link or a specific date in the case your plan will only start in a future date. The 'Latest' field allows you to select up to how many days in the future, from the earliest date, patients can pick a start date.
    • E.g.: 'Earliest' is equal to 'Same day' and 'Latest' is equal to 90 days — patients can select a day up to three months in the future. 'Earliest' is equal to '01/01/2026' and 'Latest' is equal to 30 days — patients can select any day between 01/01/2026 and 01/31/2026.
  • Payment Methods: Decide which payment methods you will accept for the memberships. Options include Cash, Check, Charge Card, and ACH. You can enable or disable each method based on what your practice supports.
  • Clinicians: Lastly, specify which clinicians will be available for members to select as their assigned clinician. You can choose all clinicians or select specific ones based on availability or specialization.

If needed, all fields can later be changed.

Once you've filled in the necessary details and click 'Confirm', your enrollment link will be ready for use. Share the link with potential members or publish it on your website, allowing them to easily enroll in your practice's membership plans online.
