Accessing Lab and Imaging Order Details

You can easily access lab and imaging order details, requisitions, and (for labs) labels directly from the patient chart.

1. Navigate to the Labs or Imaging Tab

• Open the patient’s chart.
• Select either the Labs tab or the Imaging tab.

2. View Orders

• Click View Orders to see transmitted orders listed under Pending results.

• Hover over an order and click View order details to open its details.

3. Review Order Details

• Order details include test information, provider details, requisition and billing information, and order status.

4. Access Requisition and Labels

• Click View requisition to open the requisition PDF.

• For lab orders only: A Label tab is also available to view and print specimen labels.

All requisition PDFs and labels are also stored in the Files section under the Labs folder within the patient chart for future reference.

Patient Access

The patient (or their caregiver) will receive a notification and can view the requisition directly in the SigmaMD Patient App.
