How to Request a Data Export from Stripe

If you need to migrate away from Stripe, follow these steps to request a data export:

Step 1: Access the Data Export Request Page

  • Click here to contact Stripe support.
  • Sign in to your Stripe account if you are not already logged in.

Step 2: Select 'Data Migrations' and Complete the Form

  • Once signed in, locate the Data Migrations option in the dropdown menu.
  • Fill out the form exactly as shown in the screenshot below to ensure accurate processing.

Step 3: Confirm and Respond to Stripe's Follow-Up Emails

  • Expect one or more emails from Stripe Support requesting additional written confirmation to proceed with the export.
  • For all such messages, reply back and confirm that you want Stripe to proceed with the export.

Processing Time

  • The Stripe export process typically takes between one week to ten days to complete.
  • Monitor your email for updates from Stripe Support regarding the status of your export request.

Stripe Account Status After Export

Requesting a data export from Stripe does not close your Stripe account. Your account will remain active and accessible. SigmaMD does not use Stripe for payment processing, so the export is simply a way to retain your data while transitioning away.
