How to Manually Write an Address

When entering a patient or practice address in SigmaMD, you’ll notice that the Street Line 1 field includes an autocomplete dropdown powered by Google Maps. This feature helps speed up address entry and reduce typos. However, you can still enter an address manually if needed.

To manually type an address:

  1. Start typing the address in the Street Line 1 field.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown suggestions.
  3. Click the last option—the one that exactly matches what you typed.
  4. Complete the remaining fields: Street Line 2, City, State, and ZIP Code.

This allows you to enter a custom or partial address, even if it doesn't show up in Google’s suggestions. If you're having trouble saving the form after manual entry, double-check that all required fields are filled in.
