Adding a new patient to an existing membership
It is possible to add new patients to an existing membership. This, of course, is also dependent on the membership's seat configuration.
Begin by opening the patient chart and locating the membership in which you want to add new members. Then, select the three-dot button and choose the View details option.
In the details screen that will open, click on the Edit button to the right of Plan Seats.
All seats and current enrolled patients will be available to be edited.
If a seat has no current members, an empty search field will be shown.
When available, to add another patient to an occupied seat, click on the "Add patient" button, so a new slot will be created within the same plan seat.
The number of slots that can be created for each plan seat is also dictated by the membership configurations.
You must then select a valid start date for the new patient added to the plan. Please note that on employer-sponsored plans, the start date may be automatically set by the employer's contract.
Finally, just select the "Save" button at the bottom to finish and save all changes.
