Creating All-Day Events on the Calendar
Use all-day events to block off entire days on your SigmaMD Calendar for things like holidays, clinic closures, team retreats, or other full-day activities that don’t require specific time slots.
Creating an All-Day Event
Currently, SigmaMD does not offer a dedicated "All Day" toggle. However, you can create a functional all-day event by manually selecting a 24-hour time range.
1. Start a New Event
Click on any time slot within the Calendar to open the event creation panel.
2. Choose Event Type
Select the event type you want to create:
- Appointment
- Block
- Other
Use the dropdown in the top-right corner of the panel to select the appropriate type.
3. Select Participants
Under Practice participants, choose the staff member(s) this all-day event applies to.
4. Set Date and Time
- Select the desired date (e.g., July 28, 2025).
- Set the start time to 00:00.
- Set the end time to 23:59.
5. Click Create
Once saved, this event will block out the entire day for the selected staff on the SigmaMD Calendar.
Note: Days marked with an all-day event will appear as unavailable for patient booking via the patient app.
All-day events help you stay organized and prevent scheduling conflicts during days when the clinic or staff are fully unavailable.
