Import Contacts with a CSV File

You can upload multiple contacts at once using a CSV file. This saves time and keeps your records consistent.

Before You Start

  • Make sure your file includes column headers (for example: Name, Fax Number, Email).
  • Check that fields such as Name and Fax Number are filled in. Rows with missing information will not be imported.

Upload and Import

  1. Go to Contacts.
  2. Select Add > Upload CSV.

  3. Upload your CSV file.

  4. Match each column from your file to a system label (for example: Name → Name, Fax → Fax Number).

  5. Confirm.

After Import

  • All valid contacts will appear in your Contacts list.
  • Any rows with missing required fields will be skipped.
  • If the import is successful, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
  • If the import is partially successful, you’ll receive an email with an attached file showing which information could not be processed. You can correct those errors and re-upload the file.
  • Edit or update contact details at any time. From the Contacts list, hover over a contact and select Manage details.
