How to Request Patient Payment Information
If a patient’s payment details are missing or outdated, you can request that they update their information directly through SigmaMD.
At the top-right corner of the patient's Payments screen, click the Request Payment Information icon.

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Send to notify the patient
What Happens Next
- The patient receives an email notification with instructions to update their payment details.
- If the patient has the SigmaMD Patient App installed, they will also receive a push notification on their phone.
- Patients must log into the app to update their payment information.
Tip: Remind your patients to download and install the SigmaMD Patient App to make sure they can update their payment information quickly and securely.
