How to Connect and Disconnect External Calendars

Connecting your external calendar to SigmaMD streamlines your scheduling by keeping appointments and events synced across both platforms.

Your External Calendars are located inside your Personal Settings, under Schedule.

Connect a Google Calendar

  1. Click Connect next to Google Calendar.
  2. A Google sign-in window will appear. Choose the account you want to connect.
  3. Review the access permissions and click Allow.
  4. Once connected, the calendar will display as linked to your SigmaMD account.

Connect a Microsoft Calendar

  1. Click Connect next to Microsoft Calendar.
  2. A Microsoft sign-in window will appear. Enter your email, phone, or Skype ID and click Next.
  3. Follow the prompts to sign in and authorize SigmaMD.
  4. Once connected, the calendar will display as linked to your SigmaMD account.

Disconnect an External Calendar

You can connect one Google and one Microsoft calendar at a time. To switch accounts, disconnect the current one before connecting a new account. If you no longer want to sync an external calendar:

  1. Go to Personal Settings > External Calendars.
  2. Find the connected calendar.
  • Click Disconnect.

Consequences of Disconnection

  • Sync interruption: While disconnected, new events will not be synchronized between SigmaMD and your external calendar.
  • Preservation of existing events: Any events already synced will remain unchanged in both calendars.

How to Reconnect

If your calendar disconnects automatically (for example, due to password changes, security updates, or expired permissions):

  1. Go to Personal Settings > External Calendars.
  2. Click Connect next to the calendar you want to re-establish.
  3. Sign in again and grant the requested permissions.

Once complete, SigmaMD will resume syncing events with your external calendar.
