How to Duplicate a Membership Plan

Duplicating a plan is the fastest way to create a new one with the same setup as an existing plan. This is useful when you want to offer variations (pricing, coverage, or dates) without starting from scratch.

Go to Billing → Memberships → Membership plans.

Step-by-step

  1. Find the plan you want to duplicate in the list.

    The table shows the plan name, status, patients, and type.

  2. Click the duplicate icon next to the plan.
    • A tooltip will appear when you hover: “Duplicate plan.”

  1. Confirm the duplication in the sidesheet that appears.
    • Some settings (like coverage policies or enrollment links) may need to be adjusted manually after duplicating.
  2. Update the new plan’s details before saving:
    • Name: the system will automatically append "(Copy)" to the plan's name (e.g., Plan Name (Copy). Feel free to adjust it further if needed.
  3. Save the duplicated plan.

    It will now appear in the list with the new name and updated settings.

Best practices

  • Always rename the duplicated plan to avoid confusion.
  • Double-check financial details (price, discounts, billing rules).
  • Remember: patients linked to the original plan are not duplicated.

Troubleshooting

  • Error saving the plan: make sure all required fields (name, price, dates) are filled in.
