Requesting an Electronic Interface for Fax-Interfaced Diagnostic Providers

If your diagnostic provider isn't available in SigmaMD for an electronic interface, you may be able to request a new connection.

Step 1: Check if your provider is already available

Before submitting a request, confirm your diagnostic provider isn't already supported by reviewing the list of available diagnostic providers.

Step 2: Submit a connection request

If your provider isn't on the list, submit a request using the Diagnostic Provider Connection Request form. Our team will evaluate the feasibility of establishing an electronic interface.

Important: Before you request

We recommend only submitting a request if your practice anticipates a consistent, high volume of orders with that provider. Diagnostic providers typically require sufficient ordering volume before approving a new electronic interface — requests from practices with low anticipated usage are unlikely to be approved.
