Release Notes – May 20, 2026
This update focuses on workflow automation and clinical efficiency — from how your practice handles EDI-based membership terminations to how you manage lab orders, send forms, and interact with Scribe Actions.
EDI Auto-Termination
Practices using an EDI feed can now configure automatic membership management when employees are marked as terminated.
Where to find it: Employer screen → Eligibility Sync section.

How it works:
- If the EDI feed is enabled for an employer, click the pencil icon next to Eligibility Sync, then enable the Automatic Termination toggle to activate the feature (off by default).
- When a term date is detected in the EDI feed, the membership is canceled at 11:59 PM on that date. If the term date is in the past, cancellation happens immediately.
- Optionally enable "Inactivate the chart after termination" with a configurable grace period (0–90 days, default 30). When the grace period is 0, inactivation happens at the same time as cancellation.
- If a primary member is terminated, dependents are automatically terminated as well. Dependent-only terminations do not affect the primary.
- If a subsequent EDI file updates the term date, the scheduled termination and inactivation windows update accordingly.
- Re-enrollment is always manual — no automatic action is taken if a terminated member reappears in the feed.
- Patient notifications are sent as part of the cancellation flow.
Archive Lab & Imaging Orders
Pending lab and imaging orders can now be archived and unarchived directly from the patient chart.
Where to find it: Patient chart → Labs/Imaging tabs → View Orders panel.

How it works: Use the archive option on any pending order to remove it from the active list. Archived orders remain accessible and can be unarchived at any time. If a result is received for an archived order, it is automatically moved back to active.
Please be aware that this option does not cancel transmitted orders. Please reach out to the diagnostic provider to cancel it.
Broadcast Forms
You can now attach forms to broadcast messages and send them to multiple patients at once.
Where to find it: Inbox → Broadcast → New Broadcast Message.

How it works: Select one or more forms using the new Send Forms field in the message composer. Recipients receive the forms alongside the message and can complete them through the patient portal or app.
Edit Auto-Renew Settings on Active Membership Plans
Practices can now toggle Auto-renew and Send renewal notifications on a membership plan that already has enrolled patients, without needing to cancel and re-enroll.
Forms Pre-fill with Chart Data
When sending a form to a patient, you can now set it so that responses are pre-filled with data already in the patient's chart. This works with Health Resources questions.

Patient Name in Browser Tab
The browser tab now displays the patient's name when their chart is open (e.g., "John Smith (Johnny)"), making it easier to identify which patient is open across multiple tabs without switching between them.

Scribe Actions: Vitals Timestamp
When accepting a vital sign from Scribe Actions, the Recorded At field now defaults to the encounter time instead of the current moment. This eliminates the need to manually correct the timestamp when reviewing notes after the visit.
Scribe Actions: Date Fields from Dictation
Scribe Actions now auto-populates date fields from relative and age-based references in the transcript — such as "since age 12", "five years ago", or "a year ago April". Previously, these forms were left blank even when the date was clearly stated.
This applies to date fields across conditions, procedures, medications, and allergies. The resolved date is based on the patient's date of birth and the encounter date.
Other Improvements
- Billing Reports — New CSV Columns: The Revenue Report CSV now includes a Membership Cycle (Months) column for membership line items. Individual invoice detail CSVs now include a Date of Birth column per patient.
- Patient Drive — File Extension on Rename: When renaming a file, the extension is now locked as a non-editable suffix so it can't be accidentally removed. The rename field shows only the base name for editing.
