Archived Orphan Results

Orphan results are lab or imaging results that could not be automatically matched to a patient in your system.

When an orphan result is archived, it is removed from the active Orphan Results queue and will no longer require review or matching.

Archived orphan results:

  • Are excluded from the results list.
  • Remain stored in the system for record-keeping purposes.
  • Can be viewed later from the archived results section, if needed.
  • Are not attached to any patient chart unless they are manually matched and processed.

We recommend archiving orphan results only after confirming they are duplicates, test records, or results that do not belong to a patient in your practice.

Archiving a Result

To archive a result, open the orphan lab or imaging result and click Archive result.

In the confirmation window, you can optionally enter a reason for archiving to help document why the result was removed from the active review queue. Click Confirm to archive the result.

Archived results remain stored in the system and can be recovered later if needed by opening the Review Results side panel from the Home screen and clicking Archived results.
