Adding a Photo to a Scheduling Resource
A scheduling resource is a room or a piece of equipment that appointments can be booked against. Giving a resource a photo makes it easier to recognize in a long calendar list, particularly when several rooms have similar names.
Adding a photo
The photo is part of the resource itself, so it is set from the resource form:
- Open Scheduling, then Resources
- Create a resource, or open an existing one to manage it

- Select the Upload button to open Upload Resource Photo

- Drop a file onto the dialog or browse for one

- Save the resource
A photo is optional. A resource without one behaves exactly the same everywhere it is used.
File requirements
The upload dialog lists what it accepts, and highlights whichever line a rejected file failed:
- Format: JPG, JPEG or PNG
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Minimum dimensions: 200px by 200px
A file that misses any of these is refused with File can't be uploaded. and the requirement it broke is marked in red, so you can correct it and try again without leaving the dialog.
Changing or removing a photo
A resource that already has a photo can be given a different one by uploading again — the new file replaces the old one. To take the photo off entirely, use Remove Resource Photo and confirm.
Removing is permanent for that file: the dialog warns that the action cannot be undone. Uploading a new photo afterwards is always available, so a removal costs nothing beyond having to find the image again.

Where the photo appears
A resource's photo shows next to its calendar in the calendar settings sidebar, in the same position a team member's avatar occupies. Resources and people are listed together there, which is what makes the photo useful for telling rooms apart at a glance.
Photos are a small addition, but on a practice with many rooms and devices they cut down the time spent reading names to find the right calendar.
