Unified Chat

All conversations—assigned, unassigned, or followed— appear in a single, unified inbox where chats are sorted by most recent activity, keeping the latest updates at the top.

Use filters to focus on specific views, like your assigned chats, unassigned messages, or starred conversations.


  • Assigned Conversations: A chat will show the name of its current assignee, making it easy to identify who is responsible. A purple dot indicates when an unread message is awaiting your attention.

  • Unassigned Conversations: Chats without an assignee are clearly labeled as “Unassigned,” so your team can quickly pick up and respond to new messages.

  • Following: You can be added as a follower to any conversation to stay informed. These chats are fully visible in your inbox, even if you’re not the main assignee.

  • Starred Chats: Mark important conversations with a star to visually prioritize them. You can filter the inbox to focus only on starred messages.

  • Urgent Labeling: Use the Urgent chat checkbox to label a message as urgent. This adds a visible badge in the inbox, helping your team prioritize time-sensitive conversations.

  • Tagging System: Add one or more tags to any chat to help organize messages by workflow, topic, or patient context. Tags are shown directly in the inbox and are searchable.

  • Search & Filters: Quickly locate conversations using the search bar by typing in a patient name, chat title, or tag. You can also filter by assignee or starred status to tailor the view to your workflow.

  • Team Chat: Internal chats visible only to team members. These are useful for coordinating care or discussing cases without involving the patient.
