At SigmaMD, we are dedicated to continuously enhancing the user experience for both clinicians and patients. We understand that certain challenges may arise within your workflow, and we're actively taking steps to address them. Below, we outline specific issues that have been identified and provide insights into our forthcoming solutions.
Patient Information Entry Prior to First Visit Initiation
One of the current workflow challenges in SigmaMD Clinician involves the necessity of having patient information like their name, date of birth, and address entered before initiating the first visit. We recognize that this can lead to delays and disruptions. To streamline this process, we are developing a solution that allows clinicians to input essential patient information directly within SigmaMD Clinician. This enhancement will ensure smoother visit initiation when patients' information hasn't yet been provided via the patient mobile app. In the interim, please remind your new patients to fill out their patient information and add a preferred address immediately after installing the SigmaMD patient app and creating an account.
Accessibility of Patient Charts Beyond Visits
Currently, patient charts are closely tied to visit sessions, limiting clinicians' access to crucial patient information outside of these sessions. We understand the importance of having continuous access to patient data. In the upcoming SigmaMD Clinician design updates, we will introduce an independent patient chart feature. This advancement will allow clinicians to review patient information at any time, irrespective of ongoing visits, promoting a more comprehensive and efficient approach to patient care.
Clear Indication of "No Known Drug Allergy"
Presently, indicating "no known drug allergy" within a patient's chart can be less intuitive than desired. Although a workaround involves entering an allergy record and searching for "no known drug allergies," we acknowledge the need for a more straightforward approach. We're pleased to share that this issue will be resolved through the SigmaMD Clinician design updates. Clinicians will be able to accurately indicate when a patient has no known drug allergies, simplifying the charting process.
We're committed to your experience with SigmaMD Clinician and are actively working on these solutions. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we strive to provide a seamless and efficient platform for your practice.
