Note: If your account is locked, you won't be able to perform any EPCS actions until the lockout period is over.
1. Initiate Reset
Go to the EPCS Gold website and click the Forgot Passphrase link.
2. Identify Yourself
Enter your NPI number and the Serial Number or Credential ID from your active token, then proceed.
3. OTP and Email Verification
Select your token brand from a dropdown menu, enter the OTP generated by your token, and provide your EPCS registration email.
4. Email Confirmation
Check your email for a passphrase reset link and click it to proceed.
5. Second Verification
You'll need to repeat the identification and OTP process.
6. Security Question
Answer the security question set during your initial EPCS registration. If you forget the answer, please contact support.
7. Set New Passphrase
Create a new passphrase that meets the stated security criteria.
