Why Can't I Edit the Problem List, Allergies, and Medications in Dr. First?
If you've noticed that you can't edit the problem list, allergies, or medications within the Dr. First interface, there's a reason for that. All edits to these categories must be made within SigmaMD due to the tight integration between the two platforms.
How Does Data Synchronization Work?
Uploading to Dr. First
When you open the Dr. First modal within a patient chart in SigmaMD, new entries for patient problems, allergies, and medications are automatically uploaded to Dr. First.
Downloading from Dr. First
Upon closing the Dr. First modal, all active medications and newly prescribed prescriptions are downloaded and updated in SigmaMD. This ensures both systems are kept up-to-date.
Ensuring Data Integrity
The integration ensures that the two systems will always remain in sync, meaning there's no need to update the same information in both platforms. To maintain data integrity, it's crucial that all edits are made in SigmaMD.
How to Add Medication History from Dr. First to SigmaMD
To add medication history from pharmacy fill data and payer claims information to a patient's chart in SigmaMD, please follow the steps outlined in this article. Once the Dr. First modal is closed, the medication history will be downloaded and added to the patient's chart in SigmaMD.
