In order to preserve data integrity between SigmaMD and Dr. First, certain features have been streamlined or disabled. This brief article sheds light on how to effectively manage active medications across these platforms.
To view a list of a patient's active medications, simply launch the Dr. First modal and scroll to the Medications widget.
Renewing an Active Medication
The option to directly renew an active medication within Dr. First has been disabled. This is to ensure that there's no data discrepancy between Dr. First and SigmaMD. If you wish to renew a medication, you'll need to start a new prescription.
Modifying an Active Medication
If you need to modify the details of an active medication, such as dosage or frequency, please do so in SigmaMD. Again, this is to maintain seamless data integrity between the two systems.
The integration between SigmaMD and Dr. First is designed to provide healthcare providers with accurate, up-to-date patient information across both platforms. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
