Understanding the Status of a Diagnostic Provider

Navigating through SigmaMD's Diagnostic Providers settings screen, you'll come across statuses pertaining to your diagnostic provider—namely, Pending, Active, and Inactive. Each status informs you of the current standing of your connection with the diagnostic provider. Here's an elaborate breakdown of what each status denotes:

Pending: 

Initiation in progress. Upon requesting a connection with a diagnostic provider, the status reflects as 'Pending'. This stage denotes that your connection request has been acknowledged, and we are in collaboration with the diagnostic provider to establish your clinician account. While the setup is in progress, rest assured, you'll be kept informed. Once the setup is complete, you will receive an email indicating the transition of the status to 'Active'.

Active

Ready to order. An 'Active' status is a green signal indicating that the setup between SigmaMD and the diagnostic provider is complete. At this point, you can set your prices for lab tests, place orders, and receive laboratory test results right within the SigmaMD platform. The active status facilitates a streamlined process for managing lab tests, thus contributing to efficient patient care.

Inactive

Temporary disconnect. The 'Inactive' status signifies a temporary halt in the connection between SigmaMD and the diagnostic provider. This could be due to various internal management decisions aimed at ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integrity of the platform. During this phase, the functionalities related to the particular diagnostic provider will be on pause.
