Enhancing your multitasking capabilities during patient video calls is made easy with the Picture-in-Picture feature. This innovative mode allows you to maintain a visual connection with your patient while navigating other parts of the SigmaMD system, like the patient chart screen. Here's how to activate it:
Activating Picture-in-Picture
- Within the active call, look for the three dots button on the top right corner of the patient's video feed and click on it.
- From the menu that appears choose "Enter Picture in Picture" at the very bottom of it. If you don't see it, make sure you scroll to the bottom.
Floating Video
- Your patient's video will now appear as a small, movable window on your screen, allowing you to freely navigate to other tabs or applications.
Returning to Full View
- To exit PiP mode, hover your mouse over the floating video and select "Back to tab."
The Picture-in-Picture feature is beneficial for clinicians who need to conserve screen space and wish to continue working on other tasks while still conversing with a patient. It provides a flexible viewing option that doesn't compromise patient interaction, ensuring efficient and effective multitasking capabilities during consultations.
