We’re excited to announce the latest update to SigmaMD! This release brings a wide range of new features, improvements, and bug fixes designed to enhance functionality and streamline your experience.
Improvements and New Features
Calendar and Scheduling
When the appointment type is selected during an appointment creation, the visit type now auto-populates, saving time during scheduling. Every click counts.
We also enhanced error handling for Google Calendar disconnection issues and how timezones affect recurring events.
Memberships and Payments
The visualization of paused and canceled plans inside the patient's chart is now improved, with the display of more information.
From today, invoices that are totally refunded now move to a new 'Refunded' status. Please note this change won't update past refunded invoices.
Patient Management and Records
Patient data is now available for download in CSV format. The file will contain what is seen on the table based on the active filters—the search does not interfere with the file's end result.
To improve the accuracy and consistency of entries, the height field was changed to inches only, with two decimal cases.
A new option was added to the patient's chart tables, to display the records that were marked as entered-in-error.
Archiving Faxes
In the top right corner of a received or sent fax, you'll now find an 'Archive Fax' button.
When a fax is archived, it will be hidden from view. To access archived faxes or unarchive one, go to the filter above the inbox and enable the 'Show Archived Faxes' option. Once an archived fax is selected, the 'Archive Fax' button will change to 'Unarchive Fax.'
Other Highlights
This release includes more than 80 enhancements, such as improved table layouts for sorting, filtering, and searching on smaller screens, ensuring a smoother experience across devices.
Primary insurance details for patients are now automatically pre-populated in lab orders, streamlining the laboratory test ordering process.
Insurance card images have also been made optional in patient records, making it simpler to manage and maintain comprehensive, organized files.
