We’re thrilled to share the latest SigmaMD update! This release brings a host of new features, improvements, and bug fixes designed to streamline your workflow and enhance your experience.
Improvements and New Features
Print and Download Clinical Notes
You can now easily download or print a PDF version of signed notes directly from the Notes tab or the Note sidebar. It will be customized with your practice's brand and information.
Clinical Note Service Date
Notes are now organized based on a new 'Service Date' field.
Important: all notes signed before today will have an empty service date, as this is a new piece of information and for safety reasons, SigmaMD won't assign a date to past notes.
Support for Multiple Draft Clinical Notes
You can now maintain multiple draft notes for a single patient. Additionally, all team members can access each other's draft notes, enhancing collaboration.
Move Faxes to the Patient's Chart
From a fax sidebar or when creating a new one, turn on the 'Save to files' option to store it on the patient's chart. After saving, the file will be renamed and added to the chosen folder.
Free Form Entry for Problems, Medications, Procedures, and Vaccines
When adding problems, medications, procedures, or vaccines to a patient's chart, you can now choose between selecting a coded record or entering a new one.
Please note that uncoded records won't produce the same outcomes as coded records. For example, they won't appear as diagnosis options when ordering labs, won't trigger interaction alerts when prescribing, and can't be used for future reporting capabilities.
Manually Adding Compounds and Supplies
Prescribing compounds and supplies was already available through our Dosespot integration, but now you can manually enter both at the medication's table.
We've also made it easy to visualize compound ingredients from the table rows.
Updated Billing Reports
To make information even more useful, your practice's Payments reports have been updated to Transactions and Batches reports.
In the Transactions report, you'll find all the payment transactions generated from your invoices.
In Batches, you can track the daily charge batches. Click on "View transactions" to see a list of all transactions contained in that batch.
