Release Notes – December 04, 2024

We’re excited to announce the latest update to SigmaMD! This release includes a variety of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes designed to streamline your workflows and improve the overall experience.

Improvements and New Features

Notes Improvements

Clinical notes now feature an updated interaction for better usability. They are now accessible from the Payments and Files sections of a patient's chart and signed notes now have their titles easily available to be edited—no more menu navigations to edit them.

Workflow and Scheduling Updates

Tasks cannot be unassigned anymore, requiring an assigned team member.

On the calendar, the Internal Note field is now also available on Blocks and Other events.

Lab Ordering and Medication Updates

Medispan coding is now preferred over RxCUI for prescribed medications.

The lab search on orders was improved, now also featuring the search for the test code.

New File View Experience

To take the most out of the clinical notes being accessible from the Files section, the file display is now changed so that you can work on your notes alongside the files.

General Updates

This release includes over 40 bug fixes and small improvements across multiple features, enhancing platform stability and user experience. If you encounter any ongoing issues, feel free to reach out for assistance.

• Adjusted patient enrollment forms to improve birth date validation and user feedback.
• Resolved issues with clinical note PDF signing, including service date information.
• Fixed lab order search filters to handle special characters effectively.
• Addressed recurring event reminders in scheduling for better accuracy.
• Enhanced navigation and keyboard functionality across the platform.
• Improved display and saving of inbound faxes to the Patient Files.
