Improvements and New Features
Enhanced Chat
Communication within SigmaMD is now even more seamless. We created a dedicated screen just for your chat inbox, making it easier to manage all of your practice's threads.
Take advantage of the new filters and select multiple options to customize your view.
Additionally, clinician-to-clinician chat is now available, fostering collaboration across the practice. To start a conversation with a team member, click 'New' at the top of your inbox and select 'Team thread'.
Lab Ordering Improvements
Ordering lab tests is now faster and more intuitive. You can search for lab tests using codes or special characters, providing greater flexibility when selecting tests.
We’ve also introduced updates for ordering on behalf of another clinician and improved handling of guarantor information, with default guarantor for all patients and pre-selection of insurance information.
More Controls on Membership Plans
Membership plan creation now offers increased control over pricing.
- Progressive Discounts: Offer discounts for each additional patient on a seat.
- Group Discounts: Apply discounts based on the number and/or composition of patients on a plan, such as offering a $50 discount when at least two adults and one child are enrolled.
- Custom Enrollment Fees: Tailor fees per plan based on the size of the group enrolling together.
General Updates
This release includes over 70 bug fixes and small improvements across multiple features, enhancing platform stability and user experience. If you encounter any ongoing issues, feel free to reach out for assistance.
Here are some examples of improvements made:
- Recurring event reminders are now recalculated automatically after updates, ensuring accuracy and reducing manual adjustments.
- Enhanced timezone handling in payments and scheduling ensures consistency across reports, invoices, and reminders.
- Improved accuracy on batch information for the transactions report.
- Added practice details to the first step of web enrollment
- Unanswered chats can now be manually marked as answered
