To bill a patient for lab orders, you need to create an invoice and add the requested lab order items. Follow these steps to complete the process:
Step 1: Access the Patient Chart
- Navigate to the patient’s chart.
- Click on the Payments tab.
Step 2: Create a New Invoice
- Select Create invoice.
Step 3: Add Lab Order Items
- Search for the lab order items you want to bill.
- Select the relevant items.
Step 4: Confirm Markup Pricing
- Before issuing the invoice, you can review and confirm the markup on the price being charge
- Click Issue to finalize the invoice and charge the patient.
