Changing Backgrounds in Televisits

Can I change the background during televisits?

Yes, but the ability to do so depends on your operating system.

For Apple Computers (macOS Sequoia 15 and later)

If you have an Apple computer running macOS Sequoia 15 or later, you can add a background to all your calls. Follow these steps:

1. During a video call, click the green video button in the menu bar.
2. Select Background to enable it—the icon should turn green.

   

3. Click the background preview to choose a color, a system-provided image, or an image of your own

   

If this feature doesn’t appear, check your macOS version by following this guide from Apple.

For Windows Computers

While Windows does not have a direct background replacement feature for all video calls, you can enable background blur using built-in Windows Studio Effects or camera settings.

1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras.
2. Select your camera and look for Studio Effects.
3. Enable Background Blur if available.
