After sending a lab order, there are a few key steps to track results, manage requisitions, and notify patients. Follow these steps to ensure smooth processing.
Checking Pending Lab Orders
- Navigate to the Labs tab in the patient chart.
- Click View Orders to see all lab orders with pending results.
- Hover over an order to access its details.
Accessing Requisitions and Labels
- Once an order is sent, a requisition form and labels are automatically generated.
- The patient (or their caregiver) will receive a notification and can view the requisition in the SigmaMD Patient App.
- These files are stored in the Files section under the Labs folder in the patient chart.
