Patient Access to Lab Requisitions and Results in the SigmaMD Mobile App

Patients can easily access their lab requisitions and results directly from the SigmaMD app. Follow these steps to navigate and download lab-related documents.

Step 1: Open the SigmaMD App

• The patient must first open the SigmaMD app.

Step 2: Checking for New Lab Orders or Results

• If there are new Lab Orders or Lab Results, the home screen will display cards indicating their availability.

Step 3: Accessing Lab Orders

• Tap the Lab Orders card on the home screen.

• The patient will be redirected to a list of Orders Pending Results.

• Tap on a specific order to review details.

• Click Download Requisition to download the full lab requisition created by the clinician.

Step 4: Accessing Lab Results

• From the home screen, tap the Lab Results card.

• This will redirect the patient to the Labs Tab.
• Patients can also see Orders Pending Results by tapping the relevant button.

• Tap on a specific test to review lab results.

• Click Download Results to save a copy.
• Scroll down to download the original Lab Requisition linked to the test results.

Step 5: Alternative Navigation to Lab Results

• Instead of using the home screen cards, patients can access Labs via the Care Tab.
• From the Home Screen, tap Care.

• Scroll horizontally to locate and tap the Labs button.

• This will redirect the patient to the Labs Tab, where they can review requisitions and results.
