Medications prescribed to a pharmacy using the DoseSpot module may not appear in the SigmaMD patient chart if the sync process is not completed properly.
Cause
For SigmaMD to sync prescriptions with DoseSpot, the clinician must close the DoseSpot module while still in the patient chart. If the clinician navigates away from the patient chart or closes the browser tab/window before closing DoseSpot, the sync will not occur.
Resolution
To ensure prescriptions sync correctly:
- Complete the prescription process in DoseSpot.
- Before navigating away or closing the browser tab/window, close the DoseSpot module while still in the patient chart.
- Confirm that the medications appear in the patient chart after closing.
Always close DoseSpot while in the patient chart to allow proper syncing. If issues persist, contact SigmaMD support for assistance.
