SigmaMD allows clinics to control whether patients can self-schedule appointments via the SigmaMD Patient App. If you want to completely disable self-scheduling, you can do so by updating the settings for each appointment type.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to Appointment Settings
- Go to Practice Settings in your SigmaMD Clinician interface.
- Select Appointment Settings.
Step 2: Edit Each Appointment Type
- For each appointment type listed, click the Edit link.
- In the settings panel, uncheck the box labeled Enable patient self-scheduling.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
- Repeat this process for every appointment type in the system.
Result
Once all appointment types have self-scheduling disabled, patients will no longer see any scheduling options in the SigmaMD Patient App. They will need to contact the clinic directly to request or book appointments.
