How to Edit a Chat Title

You can easily name or update a chat title from both the inbox and the patient chart. A clear chat title helps quickly identify the purpose or context of the conversation.

From the Inbox

1. Open the Inbox from the main navigation.
2. Select the chat you want to rename.
3. Locate the chat title field for the conversation.
4. Enter the new title directly into the field.
5. Click Save to apply the change.

From the Patient Chart

1. Open the Patient Chart.
2. Navigate to the Chat tab.
3. Click on the chat title at the top of the chat window.
4. Type your desired title and press Enter or Return to apply the change.

Once saved, the new title will appear across SigmaMD for all users with access to the chat.
