In SigmaMD, telehealth calls can only be initiated from the caregiver's chart, as a valid phone number is required to start the call. This means that if a patient is listed as a care recipient under a caregiver, the telehealth session must be launched from the caregiver's profile.
To ensure you can still review and update the care recipient's information while conducting the visit:
- Start the telehealth call from the caregiver's chart.
- Open a new browser tab or window.
- Navigate to the care recipient's chart in the new tab.
This setup allows you to conduct the call via the caregiver while still having full access to the care recipient's clinical data.
