This week’s SigmaMD update introduces new capabilities across chat, patient records, and the mobile apps for both clinicians and patients.
Inbox Improvements
Stay organized and respond faster with our enhanced chat inbox:
- Search by tags, title, or patient name to quickly find conversations.
- Filter chats by assignee or urgency to manage workloads more easily.
- Mark and unmark chats as urgent, helping prioritize critical conversations.
Ounces Now Supported for Patient Weight
We’ve added more flexibility when recording weight measurements, allowing the use of pounds only or pounds and ounces simultaneously. This makes documenting newborn and pediatric weights easier and more precise.
Use the toggle below the weight field to switch between the options.
Clinician App Enhancements
The SigmaMD Clinician App just got even better:
- Team Chat is now available for practice-wide conversations on the go. It follows the same rules and functionalities of the web version.
- Internal Notes can now be sent and viewed on patient chats, ensuring you always have context wherever you are.
Patient App Updates
The Patient App experience continues to evolve to better support patients:
- Imaging Orders are now visible to patients, keeping them informed about pending and completed imaging requests.
- Paused and Canceled Membership Plans now display important pieces of information, like cancelation and resume dates, so patients can easily understand their membership state..
- Chats on Home Screen: The app now highlights up to three of the most recent ongoing chats or resolved chats with unread messages. If none is available, a button to start a chat will show instead (below).
