Release Notes - January 08, 2026

This week’s SigmaMD update introduces support for multiple practice locations, laying the foundation for more scalable workflows as practices grow.

Multi-Location Support

SigmaMD now supports working with multiple practice locations.

By default, every practice starts with a single location. From there, admins can create additional locations as needed — each with its own configuration for scheduling, billing, inventory, and more.

This approach keeps existing workflows unchanged while allowing practices to expand in a structured way when ready.

List of Providers When Connecting

We now display the list of providers with up-and-running electronic connections with SigmaMD for you to choose when requesting a new connection.

Can't see your provider on the list? No problem, just type its name and add the provider. There are many more ready, and our team will help set the connection up.

Looking Ahead

The ability to share WebMD content with patients is being sunset. This will be replaced with a new option to upload and share practice-specific educational content, giving you more control over what patients see.
