Release Notes – January 28, 2026

This week’s update focuses on improving how results are reviewed and corrected, giving practices more control over access to billing reports, and making fax workflows easier to manage.

Recently Reviewed Results & Result Reassignment

We’ve added a new way to review lab and imaging results with greater confidence.

You’ll now see a Recently Reviewed section that helps you quickly revisit results you’ve already looked at. In addition, SigmaMD now allows you to correct lab or imaging results assigned to the wrong patient, in accordance with clear safety rules.

Reassignment is available only for manually assigned results and depends on whether the result has already been reviewed. This ensures patient records remain accurate and compliant.

Control Access to Billing Reports

Practices now have more control over financial visibility. You can choose whether billing reports are visible to team members with a Member access level, keeping reports available only to those who need them.

This helps align access with roles while maintaining transparency where appropriate.

New “Unassigned” Fax Filter

Managing faxes is now easier with a new Unassigned option under the Assignee filter. This makes it simple to identify faxes that still need attention and route them appropriately.
