Release Notes – May 6, 2026

This update brings meaningful improvements to the Scribe workflow and expands what it can do right inside the visit. A few new tools also reduce friction in day-to-day patient communication.

Patient Portal Update

The patient-facing experience received a significant update. The patient home screen, forms runtime, and cross-app authentication flow have all been improved, ensuring patients land on the right screen without interruptions and that forms load reliably throughout the portal.

Scribe Actions

The Scribe Actions panel now supports three new action types you can generate directly from your visit note:

  • Lab orders
  • Imaging orders
  • Tasks

Each suggested action appears in the Scribe panel after your visit. Review, edit, or dismiss each item before it's created.

Full & Preferred Patient Name Display

Patient full names and preferred names are now shown consistently across all areas of the EHR. Whether you're in a visit, the patient list, calendar, or a form, the name displayed reflects the patient's preferred name when available, with the full name always accessible.

Other Improvements

  • Send Forms from the Command Center: The Command Center Quick Actions menu now includes a "Send form to patient" option.
  • Patient timezone: Patient's local timezone is now displayed throughout the visit in Web and Patient Portal.
  • New invoice sorting options: Additional sorting criteria added to the invoice table.
  • Billing reports: no default date range: Reports now open without a pre-applied date filter, showing all records.
  • Forms in scheduled messages: Forms attached to a scheduled message now appear in its detail view.
  • Lab & Imaging dialog: Result dialogs have an updated billing footer.
  • Preferred contact management: The contact form has been redesigned with a DataList layout and the Preferred contact button restored.
  • Patient search: Archived and deceased patients are now excluded from patient search results.
  • Scribe action list: The Complete button has been removed for a cleaner workflow.
