Sigma AI Overview

Sigma AI is a new in-app assistant built into SigmaMD, currently in beta phase. It lets you ask questions in natural language about a patient's chart, just as you'd ask a colleague, instead of clicking through the chart to find what you need.

Where to find it

Look for the Sigma AI icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Click it to open the assistant from anywhere in the patient chart.

What can it do

Ask Sigma AI questions about patients' charts, such as pulling up relevant history or lab results, and it will retrieve the information for you. It can also suggest ICD-10 codes based on the context you provide.

What can't it do yet

Sigma AI is an early-beta feature and is currently read-only. It can answer questions and retrieve chart information, but it does not draft notes or modify the chart.

It also does not yet have access to your schedule or inbox — both are on the roadmap for future releases.

Why is it still in beta?

We're rolling out Sigma AI early so we can collect real feedback from real visits before adding more capabilities. As the feature evolves, expect regular updates that expand its capabilities.

Will I be charged?

Sigma AI is free of charge during the beta program.

• Responses should always be verified against the chart, especially during this beta period.
