Templates in SigmaMD offer a revolutionary way to streamline your clinical documentation. With just a few clicks, insert predefined text snippets and elevate your note-taking, making it faster and more efficient.
Managing Your Templates
- Click on the person icon at the top right of SigmaMD Clinician.
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Under "Practice," select "Templates." Here, you can add, edit, or delete templates.
Creating a New Template
- Click on "Add New."
- Name your template.
- In the 'Output' section, input your template text.
- Templates can include nested templates, variables, and the note blocker

Utilizing Templates in Your Notes
When typing a note, start with the template's shortcut using a /
. The system will automatically replace the shortcut with your template's predefined text.
