This week’s update focuses on reducing billing friction, improving ordering workflows, and strengthening communication between your team and patients.

Automatically Add Charges to Draft Invoices

You can now enable automatic addition of charges to draft invoices when:

  • Ordering labs
  • Ordering imaging
  • Dispensing medications

Charges are added to an existing draft invoice or a new draft is created automatically, helping ensure nothing is missed.

Enrollment links now support a custom “Thank You” page. This allows you to:

  • Personalize the patient experience
  • Add custom messaging
  • Redirect patients to specific resources
  • Track conversions from campaigns

STAT Lab & Imaging Orders

You can now mark lab and imaging orders as STAT, clearly indicating urgency to the diagnostic provider.

Create Tasks Directly from Chat

You can now create tasks from the Chat inbox.

  • The task is automatically linked to the chat conversation.
  • It can be reopened directly from the chat (bottom right of the screen, below patient info).

This helps ensure follow-ups are never lost in conversations.

Employer Membership Termination Notification

When an employer membership is canceled, SigmaMD now sends a notification so patients are clearly informed of the change.

Share Forms When Scheduling

When scheduling an appointment on the calendar, you can now share forms with patients directly from the scheduling flow.

  • Forms linked to the appointment type will appear automatically.
  • You can modify the list before sending.

Inventory Safeguards for Dispensing

Lots with zero or negative units remaining are no longer available for selection during dispensing, helping prevent stock inconsistencies.

Interface Improvements

  • Notifications have been repositioned slightly lower to avoid covering primary screen actions.
