Release Notes - April 23, 2026
This update focuses on clinical documentation and patient monitoring. From configurable vital thresholds with patient alerts to snippets in notes, these changes are designed to reduce manual steps and keep clinicians informed.
Vital Threshold Groups
You can now configure custom vital threshold groups from the Settings panel. Each group defines the normal, borderline, and critical ranges for individual vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, weight, and more). Learn more here
Snippets Inside Notes
Text snippets are now available within the clinical note editor and note templates. You can insert snippets at any point while writing, using the same / shortcut.
Expanded Family History
The family history section now supports a broader set of relationship options, including more granular family member types.
Other Improvements
- New chat from Command Center: The "Start New Chat" action is now available directly from the Command Center for faster patient messaging.
- Fax & messaging filters persist: Fax and Messaging filters on the Home screen now persist across sessions, so your last filter state is restored when you return.
- New clinician template variables: Additional variables (below) are now available for use in documents and message templates. See the full list here

- Overdue task filter: The overdue filter in the Home screen now captures all past-due tasks. I.e., even if you are filtering by today's tasks, turning "Overdue" on will bring all overdue tasks from previous days.
- Caregiver phone auto-linked: When creating a patient with a caregiver, the caregiver's phone number is automatically added to the care recipient's contact info.
- Encounter details on the chart: When viewing an encounter within the patient's chart, the details appear on the same screen, so you are not redirected to the calendar.
- EDI error notifications: Practice admins get an email when an EDI file completes with errors at the row level.
- $0 price adjustment: Added the option to replace the price of a fee or charge item with $0 on coverage policies.
